The final toxicology results on Rudy Eugene's body came in and according to the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner only traces of marijuana came up in his blood. So did that GREEN make him exhibit zombie like behavior?!?! According to experts NO. (I'm sure some of you just let out a sigh of relief..LOL)
They are still leaning towards the bath-salts like substance but say laboratories may not be equipped to detect it yet. An outside laboratory was brought in to help check for synthetic substances. MDPV, the active ingredient in many forms of bath salts, was not found. Five other chemicals commonly found in bath salts were also absent. Experts told discovery news there's no way that marijuana is to blame for the attack. Dr. Bruce Goldberger, professor and director of toxicology at the Univeristy of Florida, said that although a significant amount of research has found a link between marijuana use and the onset of schizophrenia or psychosis in at-risk individuals, this isn't what happened to Eugene.
This behavior exhibited by Eugene is well beyond the scope of someone suffering from acute psychosis.
