TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN THE SHOOTING DEATH OF BET'S DJ MEGATRON

New York cops have arrested 2 young men for the alleged robbery and shooting death of rising DJ and Hip Hop star Corey "DJ Megatron" McGriff. NY Daily News is reporting that 21 year old William Williams and 20 year old Richard Cromwell approached McGriff around 2am March 27 while he was supposedly on a hunt for marijuana. One of them fired a single fatal shot into his body. They both stole a wad of cash and a wrist-watch that was given to McGriff from his 11-year old daughter.

To add to the heartless nature of the 2 thugs, the watch was later found after they supposedly determined it was worthless. McGriff's mother stated:

It was an inexpensive watch that his daughter gave him. He loved it because she gave it to him. They [The Suspects] threw it away probably because they realized it wasn't valuable.

An anonymous caller tipped off police and gave them valuable information needed to arrest the suspects, both with long rap sheets.

And to make matters even worse, it is being reported that McGriff's 4-year old son was left home alone and may have watched the shooting from the door of their home.
