Late Monday night Pilar Sandars, estranged wife of Deion Sanders, was arrested on an assault charge. Deion claims that Pilar and a friend of hers jumped him, while their two children were in the room to see the whole thing take place.Police officers declined to talk about the charges and her arrest, but a tweet that Deion sent out confirmed the allegations.
"Pray for me and my kids now! They just witnessed their mother and a friend jump me in my room. She's going to jail n I'm pressing charges!"
Deion told reporters that he had not done anything to provoke the situation. He had only tried to defend himself.
