THINK LIKE A MAN MOVIE REVIEW

So last night, I went to the movie screening for Steve Harvey's new film, Think Like A Man, for Red Carpet Crash. Let me start by saying this.....Go see the damn movie tomorrow, April 20th when it hits theatres!!!! Black film is already struggling, so at least, go support it when something of quality finally drops! Kevin Hart is an idiot....Michael Ealy, Terrance J, Jerry Ferrera, and Romany Malco is fine as hell.... Gabrielle, Meagan, Taraji, and Regena are some sexy sistas so why not?!?! JUST GO SEE THE MOVIE!!!!!  Anywho, on with my review which you can check out on Red Carpet Crash as well.
Think Like A Man Review

Think Like A Man is the visual feature film to accompany Steve Harvey’s controversial best-selling book, Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man: What Men Really Think About Love, Relationships, Intimacy, and Commitment. Directed by Tim Story, this romantic comedy stars many stellar actors/actresses: Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Gabrielle Union, Meagan Good, Regena Hall, Terrence J, Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, and Romany Malco (just to name a few).

Think Like a Man is about four male friends who decide they can all out play their women who have been reading this so called book that is exposing the secrets behind the games men play. Little do they know, these women are not just the usual “sports fish” that they are going to end up tossing back in the water once they are done getting what they want. Things are going to be a lot more serious this time, but will the guys go with their hearts or keep their commitment to their player’s card?

The entire cast of Think Like A Man did a phenomenal job portraying their characters. In a recent interview on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Taraji P. Henson expressed the importance of making the characters in the movie believable to the audience, and each character did just that. Steve Harvey did a great job transforming a relationship manual into a book, under the direction of Tim Story. Throughout the movie, Steve does narrations regarding some of the most talked about topics in his book such as Mama’s Boys, Non-Committers, and the ever so controversial 90-Day Rule.

One of the most interesting things about Think Like A Man is the fact that it’s relatable to both men and women. When Mr. Harvey originally released the book, many felt it was male bashing and a manual that exposes men so that women will hate them more. By the end of the movie, I’m certain you’ll be doing the total opposite and have fallen in love with each character, both the women and men. The ups and downs of dating are portrayed from both a male and female perspective which will have you saying, “Hmmm, I’m just like them”! Another upside to the movie is it caters to all races by using an interracial couple which was a wonderful tact from the production stand point.

It’s so hard to name the STAR of the movie, because everyone did an exceptional job of morphing into their characters. However, one thing is for certain. Think Like a Man will have you laughing all the way through and even tug at your heart by the end. Kudos to the entire cast, production team and of course, Steve Harvey. Think Like A Man is a definite must see!
