D'Angelo's back!!!! Well let's hope he is. Now, he didn't make a return with his sexy body he had in his Untitled video back in the day but lets at least be happy for his comeback. :-)D'Angelo made a surprise performance at Bonnaroo Music Festival in Tennessee with Questlove over the weekend. This was D's first US apperance in over 10 years. Quest introduced him by saying:
I’ve been waiting 12 years to say this — ladies and gentlemen, D’Angelo!
D'Angelo didn't sing any of his own songs but he did play the keyboard and guitar while he sang Funkadelic’s “Hit It & Quit It” and Jimi Hendrix’s “Have You Ever Been (to Electric Ladyland". Check out a clip on The Washington Post. Oh yeah, D'Angelo will be performing at Essence July 6th!
